SBMNA 3.0: "King Kimono" by Pizazz

From Pizazz' singles collection springs forth this anthem of narcissism, "King Kimono." Vocals by Jim of The Feebs (for indeed, was not Pizazz a supergroup of the 90s? Uh, kinda...)

Recorded during either the legendary Snow Day or April Fools sessions. I'd have to check the cassette.

Pizazz did not fare the move from the basement well. Nor did they weather the new millenium. But those 90s! 4-track gold!

SBMNA 1.0: "Doomsday Weather" by The Throats

Welcome to our first offering from the Sleeping Brothers Music & Noise Archive, launched on this Black Friday.

The song is "Doomsday Weather" from the Throats' final album (also released today), Return of the Mountain Lion.

Doomsday Weather

You can download the full album here at the Throats' homepage. Or this one song might be enough for you. Fair enough.

Check back often (but not too often) for many more singles from SBMNA! How's that for an acronym that rolls right off yr tongue?
